Aim: To demonstrate an orthodontic approach for a patient with Treacher-Collins syndrome. Methods: After growth observation and eruption of permanent teeth, a multibracket fixed appliance was applied for alignment of the teeth and bite closing. After 4 years 6 months of active treatment, Hawley retainers were used for stabilization. Conclusion: An orthodontic treatment in a patient with Treacher–Collins syndrome was completed with a fairly satisfactory result. World J Orthod 2008;9:412.e37–47.
