The orthodontic specialty has many auxiliaries for distalization of teeth. Some need effective
patient compliance but others do not, because they are fixed and autonomous. Among
these, the Distalix is an automatic mechanism with a frictionless controlled and individualized
system. The distalization can be done selectively, with expansion, rotation, or a combination
of these, according to the clinical goal. World J Orthod 2003;4:215–228.
