A major disadvantage in using the forced eruption technique is the necessity for the placement of an unesthetic orthodontic appliance, especially when the tooth involved is a maxillary incisor. The aim of this article is to present two alternative simple, specific task–oriented devices that may be placed on the lingual side of the teeth and may be used in the anterior of the mouth without compromising appearance.
