Dens in dente is a developmental anomaly that predisposes the tooth to develop caries and pulp periapical pathologies. A chronic lesion can develop without any clinical symptoms of the pathology. The purpose of this case report is to decribe the endodontic treatment of dens in dente associated with a periapical lesion using a mineral trioxide aggregate apical plug.
