Reconstruction After Total Maxillectomy Using an Implant-Retained Prosthesis: A Case Report

Treatment involving the prosthetic rehabilitation of a patient with an acquired maxillary defect is reported. Definitive prosthesis support was provided by bilaterally placed hydroxyapatite-coated endosseous implants in the zygomatic buttress. (INT J ORAL MAXILLOFAC IMPLANTS 1994;9:593-595)
