Replacement of the Auricle by an Implant-Supported Prosthesis With a Cast Magnetic Splint Bar for Retention: A Case Report

With the use of a new castable magnetic alloy it is possible to simplify the fabrication of an attachment for retaining a facial prosthesis. A case report of resection of an extensive basal cell carcinoma followed by restoration of the cheek and auricle using bone-anchored support is presented.
