Immediate Implant and Decontamination Using a ND:YAG Laser Associated with Growth-factor-rich Plasma in Implant Surgery

After extracting a tooth and granulomatous tissue caused by a vertical fracture, the surrounding bone was sterilized using a Nd:YAG laser at 1 W power and in 4 20-s cycles of 60 Hz. A 15-mm immediate implant was then inserted and wetted with plasma rich in growth factors.
