In this study, we evaluated the effect of an in-office vital tooth bleaching technique with 35% hydrogen peroxide when irradiated by a laser source with a compound light system, consisting of an association of LED-type emission devices that generate light in two different wavelengths: 470 nm and 830 nm. A patient with tooth color A3 (Vita color shade scale) underwent 2 whitening sessions. The result obtained in the first session was a shade alteration from A3 to A2, and in the second session from A2 to A1. After 24 h, the patient did not report postoperative hypersensitivity.
