Several cases illustrating the use of Er:YAG, argon, KTP, Nd:YAG, and diode laser in cavity preparation, photopolymerization, bleaching, endodontics, and periodontics, respectively, are presented. The hemostatic and bacteriocidal properties of lasers are highlighted.
