The prosthetic rehabilitation and conservative dental treatment of a patient with an intraoral defect is presented. The patient suffered from rampant caries due to severe xerostomia following radiotherapy. The advantage of utilizing the Er:YAG and CO2 lasers in caries removal, cavity preparation, and soft tissue pathology is demonstrated.
