| The use of lasers in daily dental practice
continues to grow, and evermore exact specifications are
available for treating patients comfortably and safely.
To keep dentists informed, the Journal of Oral Laser Applications
will present overviews of established indications and
applications in all fields of dentistry, as well as reports
of ongoing scientific developments in laser technology
that will impact dental practice in the future.
Each issue will consist of four sections: (1) state-of-the-art
articles by invited experts; (2) peer-reviewed research
articles; (3) case reports presenting the application
of laser research to clinical practice; and (4) national
forums dedicated to member countries of the European
Society for Oral Laser Applications, the journal's sponsoring
organization. Also planned are conference and workshop
proceedings, a platform for discussion of therapeutic
questions, and a calendar of continuing education events.
