Four case reports are used to illustrate management of complex dentofacial deformities requiring multidisciplinary solutions. Following orthognathic surgery with rigid fixation techniques, fixed and removable dental prosthses were used to restore occlusal funct ion and improve dentofacial esthetics. Typical case types illustrate treatment approaches provided at the University of Tubingen; it is hoped that other centers will report on treatment alternatives for similar malocclusions.
