A sample of 18 patients underwent simultaneous orthognathic surgery on the maxilla and mandible and were evaluated retrospectively at three time intervals; presurgically, immediately postoperatively, and approximately six weeks postoperatively at the time of release of IMF. A digitizer was used to record landmarks for cephalometric analysis. A descriptive cephalometric analysis was undertaken to examine stability of the two-jaw procedures.
