Assessment and description of the treatment needs of adult patients evaluated for orthodontic therapy. II. Characteristics of the dual provider group

In Part II of this three-part study, patients needing dual provider group orthodontic therapy are defined, then further categorized into subgroups for more accurate assesment of treatment needs. The complexities of two practitioners providing care fro one patient are discussed. A conscious effort to educate patients in conjunction with plateaus of treatment is advocated to encourage a high level of compliance with the treatment.
