Although the best method of prosthetic retention remains a muchdebated issue in the implant literature, screw-retained implant prostheses are still a viable treatment modality, especially when retrievability is considered of great importance. this article presents a case report involving the restoration of two maxillary implants using custom abutments and transverse screw–retained metal-free zirconia crowns.
