Porcelain is considered the most natural-looking material for the
restoration of missing hard tissues and is available in a range of
shades and translucencies. Clinicians have long sought conservative
treatment approaches to restore anterior teeth with long-lasting
and esthetic materials. This endeavor has been marked by new ceramic
compositions and innovative restorative techniques. This article
presents two case reports involving the use of ceramic veneers
without tooth preparation, reinforcing the concept that noninvasive
porcelain laminate veneers are a versatile and conservative treatment
option in esthetic dentistry. (Am J Esthet Dent 2012;2:238–254.)
