Distinguished Clinician Award Presented to Dr Gerald M. Bowers and Dr Lloyd L. Miller
At the recent ISPRD, Gerald M. Bowers, DDS, MS, and Lloyd L. Miller, DMD, were given the Distinguished Clinician Award. Established 7 years ago, this award recognizes the outstanding contributions of two clinicians to the advancement of dentistry. The award recipients are chosen not only for their excellence as clinicians and researchers, but also for serving as role models to their junior colleagues. Past recipients of the Distinguished Clinician Award are: Morton Amsterdam, DDS, ScD (2004), Peter Schärer, DMS, MS (2004), Ulf Lekholm, LDS, PhD (2000), and George A. Zarb, BChD, DDS, MS (2000).
