Edward Pat Allen
Edward P. Allen, DDS, PhD, serves as treasurer for the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation. The recipient of numerous awards, he is the periodontal section editor for the Journal of Esthetic Dentistry and serves on the editorial boards of four journals. Dr Allen is the founder of the Center for Advanced Dental Education in Dallas. He has published more than 50 articles on esthetic surgery and has presented numerous lectures and surgical demonstrations worldwide.

Markus B. Blatz
Markus B. Blatz, Dr Med Dent, is professor of restorative dentistry and chairman of the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr Blatz is an associate editor of Quintessence International and Quintessence of Dental Technology and an editorial board member of several recognized dental journals. Dr Blatz has published and lectured exclusively on the various facets of restorative dentistry, implantology, and materials. He is currently working on a new book to be published by Quintessence.

Didier Dietschi
Didier Dietschi, DMD, is a part-time senior lecturer in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics at the University of Geneva, Switzerland, and maintains a part-time private practice dedicated to restorative and esthetic dentistry and periodontics. He lectures on adhesive and esthetic restorations and chemical and conservative treatments of discoloration. He is the coauthor of Adhesive Metal-Free Restorations (Quintessence 1997).

Sillas Duarte, Jr
Sillas Duarte, Jr, DDS, MS, PhD, is associate professor in the Department of Comprehensive Care at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, and maintains an intramural practice limited to esthetic dentistry. He is editor-in-chief of Quintessence of Dental Technology, has served on the editorial boards of several journals, and has lectured nationally and internationally on esthetic dentistry and adhesion.

Eli Eliav
Eli Eliav, DMD, PhD, is the director of the Division of Orofacial Pain at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Dental School in Newark, New Jersey. He is the new editor-in-chief of Quintessence International. His research focuses on orofacial and neuropathic pain and the role inflammation plays on neuropathic pain, and he has published numerous articles on this subject.

Mauro Fradeani
Mauro Fradeani, MD, DDS, is a visiting associate professor in prosthodontics at Louisiana State University in New Orleans and a past president of both the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and the Italian Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry. He runs a private practice limited solely to prosthodontics on natural dentition and implants in Pesaro and Milan, Italy, and is an active member of The American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. Dr Fradeani has published two volumes on Esthetic Rehabilitation in Fixed Prosthodontics, Volume 1: Esthetic Analysis (Quintessence 2004), Volume 2: Prosthetic Treatment (Quintessence 2008).

Harald O. Heymann
Harald O. Heymann DDS, MEd is Professor and Graduate Program Director in the Dept. of Operative Dentistry at the Univ. of North Carolina. He is Editor-in-chief of the Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry, co-editor of The Art and Science of Operative Dentistry, and Fellow and Past-President of the American Academy of
Esthetic Dentistry. The author of over 175 scientific publications, Dr. Heymann also has given over 1,000 lectures on various aspects of esthetic dentistry worldwide. He has received the Gordon J. Christensen Award for excellence as a CE speaker and is a guest lecturer at the LD Pankey Institute.

Iñaki Gamborena
Iñaki Gamborena, DMD, MSD, FID, maintains a private practice in San Sebastian, Spain, where he dedicates his research to esthetics, restorative dentistry, and implants. He is also an affiliate professor at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, and an active member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. Dr Gamborena was awarded the Bolender Contest Award for clinical and academic excellence for his work in prosthodontics at the University of Washington-Seattle. He is currently working on a new book to be published by Quintessence.

David A. Garber
David A. Garber, DMD, is an active partner of Team Atlanta, a multidisciplinary team of dentists that focus on cosmetic reconstructive dentistry. He lectures extensively on multidisciplinary approaches to optimizing esthetics by integrating restorative dentistry and periodontic implants in developing total dentofacial harmony. He also has written innumerable articles and contributed to and coauthored several texts in the field of esthetic dentistry.

Andrej M. Kielbassa
Andrej M. Kielbassa, Dr. Med Dent, PhD, is professor and chair of the Department of Operative Dentistry and Periodontology at the Medical University of Berlin (Benjamin Franklin Campus), Germany. His research interests include de- and remineralization of enamel and dentine, dentine hypersensitivity, tooth wear, extrinsic/intrinsic staining, endodontics, periodontics, and esthetic dentistry including implantology. Prof. Kielbassa published numerous scientific/educational papers and lectures extensively. He is a member of the editorial board as well as reviewer of several major dental journals, including Quintessence International.

Greggory A. Kinzer
Greggory A Kinzer, DDS, MSD serves as an affiliate assistant professor in the graduate prosthodontic program at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He also serves as a faculty member at the Spear Institute for Advanced Dental Education. Vincent O. Kokich, Jr
Vincent O. Kokich, Jr, DMD, MSD maintains a private orthodontic practice in Tacoma, Washington. He has lectured nationally and internationally on interdisciplinary dentistry and dental esthetics emphasizing comprehensive treatment planning and the importance of properly sequencing orthodontic, periodontal, and restorative treatment. Dr Kokich is a diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontists, and a member of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.

Jin-Ho Phark
Jin-Ho Phark, Dr Med Dent, is a faculty member in the Department of Comprehensive Care at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, and is associate editor of Quintessence of Dental Technology. Dr Phark’s clinical focus is in operative, prosthetic, and implant dentistry, while his main interest is in the field of biomaterials.

Avishai Sadan
Avishai Sadan, DMD, is Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs, professor and chairman of the Department of Comprehensive Care at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He is the former editor-in-chief of Quintessence International, and Quintessence of Dental Technology, has served on the editorial boards of numerous journals, and has lectured and published nationally and internationally on esthetic and implant dentistry and biomaterials. Dr Sadan is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Prosthodontists, and the Academy of Osseointegration. He also maintains an intramural practice limited to fixed and implant prosthodontics.

Henry Salama
Henry Salama, DMD, maintains a private practice limited to advanced restorative and implant therapy in Atlanta, Georgia. His research focuses on long-term stability of esthetic soft tissue enhancement techniques and immediate and early loading of root form implants. He is the former director of the Implant Research Center at the University of Pennsylvania, where he continues to serve as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Periodontics.

Robert R. Winter
Robert R. Winter, DDS, maintains a private practice limited to prosthodontics in Newport Beach, California. He has taught more than 450 didactic, clinical, and technical courses in more than 35 countries and is the founder of the Oral-Facial Design Center, an educational facility in Newport Beach, where he teaches a series of clinical and technical educational courses. In addition, Dr Winter has published numerous articles and is actively involved in research and product development pertaining to new dental materials.
