On-site registration will be offered only on the basis of space availability and thus cannot be guaranteed. Early advance registration is strongly recommended.

If you do not receive a confirmation letter from our office, you are not registered. To expedite your check-in at the meeting to receive your badge, please bring a copy of your confirmation letter with you to the meeting. The deadline for registering for the symposium is May 15, 2023.


Cancellations made in writing and received by Quintessence Publishing before May 15, 2023, will be refunded in full. Cancellations received on or after May 15, 2023, but before June 8, 2023, will be subject to a cancellation fee of $100. No refunds will be granted after the symposium begins on June 8, 2023.

Conduct at Symposium

If an attendee engages in unacceptable behavior, symposium organizers reserve the right to take any action they deem appropriate, including expelling offending persons from the symposium without further notice or refund. Photography, video, and audio recording are prohibited during the lecture sessions. Cellular telephones and other electronic devices must be turned off or switched to silent mode during the sessions. Please be respectful of your peers and colleagues. Any attendee who violates these rules will be refused admission to the lecture room.


Each lecture included in the general session (Friday to Sunday) will be translated into Spanish. Spanish translations for this meeting can be received on each guest’s smartphone using his or her own headphones or earbuds. Attendees will only need to download the platform app to their phone in order to connect to the translation. Receivers and headphones will not be supplied. If you are in need of Spanish translation services, please note your request on the registration form.

Registration Desk

Your registration packet will await you at the Symposium Registration Desk located on the main floor near the Pacific Ballroom. The desk will be open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on Thursday, June 8, and open starting at 6:30 am on Friday through Sunday. Please note that on-site registrations will be accepted only if room capacity allows.

Hotel Reservations

The Town and Country, San Diego, selected as the official hotel for the symposium, is offering a special rate to symposium participants. Hotel rooms have been blocked, and reservations at the special symposium rate will be accepted until the cutoff date at 5:00 pm on May 18, 2023, or until the room block is sold out, whichever comes first. Therefore, it is recommended that you reserve your room as early as possible. Be sure to indicate the name of the symposium (ISC 2023) to receive the special meeting rate of US $219.00 per night (single/double rate). The resort fee of $22 per night is waived for individuals who book within the block. All rooms must be guaranteed by a deposit equal to one night’s room and tax with a major credit card. Individual cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the date of arrival.

Technical Exhibits

Technical exhibits will be held on Friday and Saturday. Visit the exhibits to observe the latest developments in dental products offered by the leading manufacturers. Exhibit hours are:

CE Credits for Dentists

This continuing education activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the standards of the ADA Continuing Education Recognition Program (ADA CERP) through Quintessence Publishing Co, Inc. For all CE activities, 0.25 credit hours will be awarded for each 15 minutes of activity time, not including breaks, meals, registration periods, or general business. Quintessence Publishing retains CE records for 6 years. Quintessence Publishing does not send CE credit information to state boards. Meeting attendees are responsible for ensuring that their CE credits are current and on file at their respective state board or other licensing or regulatory agency. (If you live outside the US and require a certificate, please indicate it on the registration form). Quintessence Publishing is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider and designates this activity for 23 continuing education credits. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the provider or to the Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition at ADA.org/CERP.

CE Credits for Technicians

The courses for this meeting will be offered for CE credit by the National Board for Certification (NBC) in Dental Laboratory Technology pending final appproval.
