Continuing Education Credit Information
One hour of continuing education (CE) credit is offered for every hour of attendance. CE credit may be recorded on the CE form that is located in your registration package. One copy of the completed form should be returned to the CE Counter at the Registration Desk. Quintessence Publishing will maintain this copy for 4 years. Quintessence will not send CE credit information or CE forms to state boards. CE credit awarded for participation in a course may not apply toward licensing renewal in all states. It is the responsibility of each participant to verify the requirements of his or her state licensing board. Meeting attendees are responsible for ensuring that their education credits are current and on file with their respective state board or other licensing/regulatory agency. A different form is provided specifically for California residents.
The courses for this meeting have been approved for CE credit by the National Board for Certification (NBC) in Dental Laboratory Technology. In order for a technician to receive CE credit, the NBC has specific rules that must be adhered to. On the first morning of the meeting, the technician must check in at the CE Counter located at the Registration Desk. He or she will receive a scan card that must be completed and returned to the CE Counter at the conclusion of Day 1. The technician will then be given a certificate of attendance for Day 1 together with a scan card for the next morning. This procedure must be repeated each day. In addition, technicians must sign next to their printed names on the attendee roster located at the CE Counter once per day. At the conclusion of the meeting, the scan cards will be mailed by Quintessence to NBC. If you do not complete the scan cards exactly as per instructions on the back of the card, NBC will reject your application for CE credit.
If you have any questions regarding CE credit, contact Stephanie Andropolis at email@example.com.
