Implants in the Esthetic Zone: The Art and Science
CostThe fee to attend is $1,250 and includes the following:
In the maxillary anterior area, the esthetic outcome is a critical determinant of the overall success of implant therapy, yet it remains a challenge. Recent digital technology offers numerous new and efficient options for planning and conducting implant and restorative treatments. Key factors for implant success include correct 3D position and long-lasting soft tissue integration, and biologic factors like the individual biotype, peri-implant tissue quality, and bone morphology also impact treatment decisions. The analysis of the anatomical situation helps determine whether immediate or delayed implant placement should be used, and both techniques will be discussed in the workshop. The hands-on training will include a demonstration of microsurgical techniques, guided implant placement in a fresh extraction socket using a prefabricated stent, fabrication of the suprastructure for immediate restoration, implant placement in a deficient site, and bone augmentation using bone lamina techniques.
