Thomas D. Taylor,DDS, MSD,is a professor and head of the Department of Reconstructive Sciences and chairman of the Division of Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He is involved in both clinical and laboratory research and has published extensively in the prosthodontic literature. He is a former editor of the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants. Dr Taylor currently serves as executive director and is a former president of the American Board of Prosthodontics. He is also past president of the American College of Prosthodontists and the International Team for Implantology
(ITI), and he currently serves as president-elect of the Academy of Prosthodontics and as co-president of the International College of Prosthodontists. Dr Taylor maintains a part-time practice limited to prosthodontics.
