David M. Kim,DDS, DMSC,is an assistant professor and director
of predoctoral periodontics at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
Dr Kim is a past recipient of Harvardís Joseph L. Henry Award recognizing excellence in research and clinical training. In addition, he received the Balint Orban Research Award, the Award for Outstanding Teaching and Mentoring in Periodontics, and a Teaching Fellowship from the American Academy of Periodontology. Dr Kim has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and contributed to textbooks on periodontal and implant therapies. Dr Kim is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and maintains a practice in Boston.
