In recent years, the esthetic demand from patients has become the biggest challenge in periodontology as well as in implant dentistry. Besides functional results, it is now important to achieve esthetic success, particularly in the anterior areas, where the expectations of the patients are even higher. The introduction of new biologic, biomaterials, and surgical techniques, including matrices, growth factors, image-based scaffolding, micro-invasive approaches, or different papillae preservation techniques, allows us to meet the patientís demands and change the prognosis of compromised teeth with predictable long-term results. Decision making of different clinical situations will be analyzed during the presentation, and the procedures will be shown in detail and clarified.
